his new registration tool, developed and built by Multiline International Europa has already impressed customers with the ultimate in precision and performance from a glass frame. It's innovative design gives the highest accuracy (± 0.0004") (±10 µm) in front to back registration for photo imaging for double sided PCB's and/or multilayers. The Multiframe has a 3-point hardened guide system repeatability.
The frame automatically adjusts to different panel thicknesses ranging from (±0 to 0.196") (0-5mm) enabling quick set-ups. Multiframe is a glass/glass frame that can be customized to the specifications of the customer.
As a result of listening to what the customer requirements were, the Multiframe was developed around certain criteria which would provide fast setup, high throughput and precise accuracy.
We offer three different types of glass; Regular Optical, Heat Treated and Chemical Hardened Glass. The glass and registration pins are manufactured as per customer specifications.
Films are held in place with a unique integrated vacuum system. With the patented retractable registration pins for "L" tooling mounted in the glass or the frame provide superior accuracy and repeatability. In the event of glass breakage the replacement glass can be exchanged quickly and easily by the operator with a minimum of downtime.
